In Tsuyazaki, Fukutsu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, owls are called "Moma," and since the Edo period, Moma Fue has been distributed as a good luck charm at the local Miyaji Take Shrine. When you blow into it, it produces a sound like "hoo hoo," resembling an owl's hooting. It is said that in the past, elderly people would blow this flute to expand their airways and improve the passage of food during meals. Owls are believed to have the ability to foresee the future, making them auspicious creatures worldwide. Each item is individually handmade, so there may be slight variations in the painting.
